Great visuals for the song's theme, great editing with perfect pacing, love the high-movement cuts punctuated by the visual relief of still shots to exemplify the lyrics and give the viewer a sec to ponder the message, love that it's b&w FILM, the casting was perfect. Unlike others I've seen, this one had a wide variety of settings, not just 2 or 3, which kept me interested and eager for the next shot (and not going "Oh great, now we're back to THAT place again.") Every shot and every setting perfectly represents the spirit of the song. I very much loved that there were no gimmicks, no pretentious artistic symbolism, no glorification of anything except community and hope. Which is what the track is all about. And let's talk about the song. So so good. Great combo of rap and actual singing, nice driving beat, great chord progressions, lyrics so earthy, so real, so relatable, so positive. Not a speck of bull$hit or sentimental schlock anywhere. Left me feeling so hopeful. Like keep the faith, change gon' come, so keep on keepin' on with a smile. This is the best music video I've seen since Thrift Shop. And I only had one other that I liked before that, way back in the 80's. I worked in television for 35 years, putting together everything from Bill Nye the Science Guy to studio band sessions to talking heads shows. Your video here rivals any of the Emmy Award stuff I've worked on and/or seen. Congratulations to Solzilla and his team for a job so very well done. Hope it takes off, blows up and breaks the internet. Eager for what you all do next. Keep it up, Sol!
