A thousand thank you’s!!! I will be watching again (and again) as our time to make the flowers gets closer. You are a “lovely” person, wish I could fly out and visit your shop! Thank you so much and more online orders to come! I’ll be watching for the greenery (my question you answered)! 😊🌸💗

I'm trying to understand the "ounces" you have on your site. Just an estimate guess, how many flowers come in a package from you? On Sola Woods website they have 10 flowers per package.. thanks so much for your informing videos! Can't wait to tag you in my creations! You've helped so many brides including myself!! 🥰🥰

Skye, can you email us at info@ohyourelovely.com with an example. Most of our flowers are sold in sets of 12, 6, or 3 and assortments are normally in sets of 50. We have ounces to describe some of our preserved/dried filler. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the q&a but I was wondering for storage of the flowers is it ok to store the flowers in clear storage bins and take of the top ?
@thaenajonne59703 жыл бұрын
Late response, but i store my Sola flowers in a huge plastic bin with a lid. They are fine.

This is so incredibly helpful! As a teacher (choir director) trying to keep to a wedding budget, wood flowers seem like an indeal option. I've watched all your tutorials and appreciate your insight so much and your bubbly personality is such a joy. :) I've tried the techniques from your videos but I'm struggling to get a deep color. My bridesmaids will be wearing Sangria from David's Bridal. Any tips on how to get a deep red/purple color? Thanks for your time and consideration!

Glad you have been enjoying the videos! So sorry for the late reply back for darker colors try adding a little bit of black to your mixture. Also more paint and less water but if you go that route I would add a little glycerin to the mix as well to keep the flowers soft.

Can you please share the link for the classic round bouquet with the white and purple flowers? You said the link would be on the description box, but I can't find it. Thank you so much!

I am trying to make my flowers white vs cream. Any tips? If I dye them multiple times, will that help?
@OhYoureLovely3 жыл бұрын
I like using white gesso for white flowers (still watered down and add a bit of glycerin to the mix) it creates a really nice bright white

whats the difference between oh youre lovely and solo wood? just discovered both last night and two carts are full lol
@OhYoureLovely4 жыл бұрын
The sola wood flower world can be a little confusing so thank you for your question! The simple answer is: no. We are not affiliated with Sola Wood Flowers (the company), in any way. Oh You're Lovely (OYL) and Sola Wood Flowers both sell sola wood flower products but that is pretty much the only similarity. The term sola wood flowers are simply describing the material/wood that the flowers are made from. They have been referred to as sola flowers since the 70’s (that we are aware of). The flowers/product themselves are made primarily in India and Thailand where shola/sola wood is commonly found. There are companies worldwide that sell sola wood flowers both retail and wholesale. At OYL, we pride ourselves on importing the highest quality flowers, providing free tutorials, and lives on a regular basis and supporting our customers (individuals and small businesses) in any way we can. I hope this clears up your question but please let me know if you need any more information!
