The blockchain exists across the entire world. If a country bars you from accessing it, that's an issue with the country, not the blockchain or the protocol. We have to be honest about that. For instance, some countries, like Pakistan, don't allow you to hold crypto. If they can't participate, I understand your point, but I don't think it's in bad taste. It's just unfortunate if that's what has to be done.
