Solar Battery - SMA Sunny Island to Lithium BMS to Generator AutoStart

In this video we show how the Iron Edison battery management system sends State of Charge messages via CANBUS protocol to the SMA Sunny Island battery inverter / charger. The Sunny Island relies on state of charge (SOC) data to make all it's internal decisions on wether to charge / not charge, sell / not sell, call for generator / stop gen, just to name a few.
