Sir need your input about our concern. We install our solar system in July (precisely 16july), and cleared all the bills of previous meter and arrears. Now we expected that our solar bill will come at September end (after 3 months of solar installation). But today we received bill for August of RS. 5000 aprox which are all taxes and cost of electricity is mentioned 0 on bill. I watched your videos in which you mentioned that there shouldn't be "SS" written in front of units on bill, but unfortunately on our bill SS is written with Units. Please let me know, what should we do? Should we go to LESCO office? Kia aesa karain k bill pe SS ki jaga MC aye

It seems that there is zero units but FPA is applied which always applys on 2 months back it always mentions on bill then there are taxes on top of that. SS MEANS same to same reading which clearly shows MC is not updated yet so be careful with your consumption please. Let's wait for September I hope MC is updated there.

I believe it will remain there i have seen many bills of family friends whos bill were 150k but they prefered to utilize them in this summer now it fall to minus 40k it's better better to use

Thanks for replying so soon. One more thing, I have seen some people install a hybrid inverter along with on grid and use it to charge batteries and backup during power failures. Besides they use some home appliances with power generated by hybrid so they can feed maximum energy via on grid inverter. What is LESCO says about it? Because those people claim that it is okay to use another inverter LESCO doesn’t mind it.

Sir I will try to response in two bits. a) I am also planning to go for little hybrid solution along with current on grid setup and LESCO no issues with that. I will share idea on youtube to get your all feedback. b) secondly home appliances with power generated by hybrid so they can feed maximum energy via on grid inverter if that is something pushes hard to grid that might bother LESCO but i have not much information about it.

Bhai some says that you can install only approved number of PLATES/KW (e.g. 12 plates or 7.5kw) … now you have choice to switch some of the plates (e.g. 4 plates) for hybrid inverter and use rest (8 plates) with on grid inverter. We cannot exceed number of plates approved with our net metering agreement with LESCO. But some say you can install additional plates with hybrid as your hybrid system is not the concern of LESCO. I am sharing these concerns because I am working on the same but couldn’t get solid answers. when you will work on these please do try to find answers to these concerns. Thanks once again.

@ExplorewithTaj I do have another question, before solar installation we had two meters installed at our place one for lower portion and one for upper portion. We installed the solar and now both uper portion and lower portion's electricity is through one Green meter. So my question is k still we were getting two bills against both meter with SS status with units (which is all FPA and fixed charges) so ab Jo hamara 3 months ka solar bill aye ga at September end (hopefully with MC status) tou we will be getting single bill? And hamara Customer ID and Reference number bhi ab aik ho ga instead of two?

Taj Bhai I got around 1600 bill last month as taxes with zero units consumed and I have -272 units in credit. Now this month, with zero units consumed, I got 1215 bill which is 1000 fixed charges and other taxes. This time I have -514 units in credit. Why the credit amount is not showing in the bill like yours ? Am I missing something or there is some issue I need to get addressed. Please guide, Thanks
