Well, that's timely! I just noticed that the latest Seestar firmware update (released in the past couple of days) adds manual exposure in solar mode! Great news for the upcoming eclipse! I'll post more details once I've had a chance to test it!

I really can't wait to see your footage! We are 90% here but not able to see the ring of fire. 😫

Fingers crossed on being able to get some footage. A few friends and family asked me in the past few days where I'm going to be for the eclipse. I told them that I'm not sure. Hah. 90% will still be pretty good! Back in October during that annular eclipse we were at 85% in Houston. It got noticeably cooler, the sun didn't feel warm, the lighting was all weird and shadows under trees were all thin crescents. Still pretty cool!
