If we are installing new shingles, is it better to have the solar flashing installed first and then have the roofers install the new shingles and waterproof as a secondary precaution? Thx

I know this is an old video. But please do not apply a circle bead of sealant behind the flashing. It will trap water. Upsidedown "U" per the manufacturers recommendations
