Not sure why people get so bunched up about FR bridges...I just have not had any major issues with them (even the cheaper ones on most guitars). Yeah - string changes take a little bit more effort, but it is not that big a deal.

Right.. Explain! I would love to know why you both feel this way.. I'm curious because I heard a few other people say the say thing. Personally, I like the reverse headstock. Especially when the low E string is the longest from bridge to machine head.. But that's just me.

After just one week with my S1.6PP with the Evertune, I knew right then, I want an Evertune on every guitar I buy from now on. I have recorded entire songs, multiple parts, multiple takes, the whole song start to finish and never once had to tune the guitar. Most of my stuff is in C standard, and I keep the bridge at the top of zone 2, bend the hell out of notes and pinch harmonics... never have to tune it. When I change strings, I just keep the same guage and just twist the tuners until the pitch stops changing and its in tune, done, pitch changes take literally 3 minutes. Setting string height and intonation is soooo easy, and can be done under full tension. The only con, is tuning changes are kind of a pain, but thats why I have other guitars... my Solar never leaves C standard, if I want something different, I have other guitars I like for other tunings.

Evertune bridges are overly complicated for what's basically a hard tail set up imo. I'll deal with it on a Floyd because I get the benefit of the bar, but for a hard tail it seems not worth the hassle.

I would be all over this guitar if it had the reversed headstock (non-non-reversed?). It's just what I got used to with Solars, just as I don't like reverse Jackson headstocks. Other than that, great great axe!

The one big gripe I have with my evertune guitar is even after stretching the string to make sure it's good and set it in tune in zone 2 once I tune up to get to stage 3 my string always goes slightly sharp causing me to go back and set it slightly flat so that I can get it in perfect tune in zone 3. Maybe it's user error but I cannot get mine to stay in tune from zone 2 to 3 without it going slightly sharp. Anyone know how to fix this plz let me know.

After getting my Solar with an Evertune back in May, I ran into this same issue. What you want to do is get your guitar to the edge of Zone 2 right before it goes into Zone 3. You can think of it like Zone 2.99. Tune your strings right here instead of possibly in the middle of Zone 2, where you may be. The amount of tension to raise the string into Zone 3 and back is far less and and your strings should be in tune and you should be able to bend like normal. You may have other preferences for bending. This is what I found after a while with the guitar. I hope this helps you and anyone else reading with a similar situation. -Wes
