thanks for sharing!I have one question.For low-x-hotwall wall,it is velocity-inlet type,but you do not definite the velocity,so the Fluent has warning:Flow boundary zone found adjacent to solid zone.how do i solve this problem?

Excellent work... If possible share full video for it.. Because in this video you crop some part off setup step..

hi, nce video and explanantion but when I repeat your exercise all in in blue...do you know why? i am looking for irradiation on the external surface rather than internal. could you please help me? it is like your last example where you have issues as well

thank you, i have a question. you showed the solar heat flux contour on FLUENT, but not CFD-post. Is it possible to see the solar heat flux contour on CFD Post? because in fluent the solar heat flux can be displayed but in my CFD post its not showing.

CFD post will only show the parameters you have saved for post processing. For transient problem, it should be in the calculation activities>automatic export section...for steady-state, try clicking on the File>Data quantities in Fluent and add the heat flux as a data you want to save for post-processing

Excellent tutorial. Could you please explain the mesh orientation ?? which point is (0,0,0)? May I know why you put Z= -1 in north ? Thanks in advance.

(0,0,0) is one of the bottom left corner of the geometry . I think the best way to explain is x-length, y-length and z-length are all in positive direction. Now, I put z=-1 in solar ray tracing model to specify the angle of incident of solar flux. You can select any value of x,y and z in solar ray tracing option. However, make sure the angle of incident calculated from those value are your required incident angle. Its a simple calculation, like, tan(theta)=height/base

Sir I not have the option of solar load model in ANSYS, why?
@NazmulHossain-nb4lc Жыл бұрын
I am not sure either. might be a fluent bug. try pasting this in the console. maybe will work. define/models/radiation/solar? y

what kind of error are you seeing? I would rather answer your question here so that everyone can be benefited.
