Your videos came up on my feed again tonight. It's been a few years since I had watched through your build of your projects and your beautiful home. Would love to see some updated progress of your pole barn home. I went down the rabbit hole tonight of watching a lot of your videos again and reminded me how much I enjoyed how you pulled everything together and made it your own 👍😊

Sweet setup 🖖😎 Being a worrywart, I’d put the batteries in a separate metal container… if they cause a fire- (for whatever reason) you’d only loose the batteries, …not the whole closet full of electronics….

hello. just subscribed. would like to see your solar panel set up. i want to run 12 volts, but also have regular electric for washer/dryer/well pump.
@ProjectsbyKnight2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for subscribing! We do have a video that shows our entire solar system which runs our washer dryer and air conditioner, the dryer is gas so it only takes a 120 V circuit

How much do you generate in the winter?
@ProjectsbyKnight2 жыл бұрын
We have plenty of power in the winter, we have to watch our power consumption in the summer if it is hot and cloudy, our air conditioner is our biggest power consumer

How many watts it takes to run a offgrid 1790 sqt crib
@ProjectsbyKnight3 жыл бұрын
That is kind of a loaded question Our house was built from the ground up to be efficient and all of the heat sources are runoff of propane or wood! But our system is about 4000 W

We have a cistern, so the pump from it into the house is only a 12 V pump

anyone know if a 10a max stepup converter (12v-24v) would work for this? Say you are running a 12V only system (e.g. THLY step up model T122405D)
@rojer9542 Жыл бұрын
Check Unique’s specs for their DC refrigerators, I think they all compatible with 12v and 24v batteries systems.
