Can I get hourly solar irradiance on building envelopes (one value - average solar irradiance of all the walls and the roof) for each building separately in the urban neighborhood consisting of, say, n buildings. so the final output, I expect, shall have n x 8760 values in CSV format. What I saw in this tutorial is a CSV file with monthly accumulated value, not hourly. Any support would be highly appreciated.

Hello! In Grasshopper, you can choose to run the solar irradiance with hourly data, but you’ll have to parse the data yourself. You can find a premade workflow template under Radiation Map & PV > Urban Context - Radiation Map (Hourly Data). There is a video on how to access these workflow templates that is linked in the caption of this video.

I cant get it to show me the building WITH windows accounted for. it treats them all solid walls.

Hello! Radiation maps only show the solar energy incident on a surface. What is absorbed or transmitted will not be readily apparent.

Hello! You can type CSSettings into the Rhino command line to change your unit system.

Hi Luciano! There is no way to embed the results directly into the model as a separate surface from the user interface, but you can access texture maps and mesh geometries through our Grasshopper components.
