Hello all Right handed Crochter,
This Earth pattern is for left handed person. For right handed crocheter just start from R1 as I have done but for each row do the mirror image of my work.
Like for R2 it says
R2 : (2B, 3G, 1B, 2W, 1B, 2G, 1B)
Do the mirror image for this row and all other rows.
You should be doing R2 as below.
R2: ( 1B, 2G, 1B, 2W, 1B, 3G, 2B)
And do same thing for all other rows.

Thank you for this pattern! I finished this just in time for earth day. I did as you said and read the number of stitches in reverse order of your pattern. (I am left handed,who crochets the right handed way..). But realised I didn’t do that for the sequence of Increases and decreases in each row (not sure if it matters though). Eg when your pattern says (2sc, 1 in)x 6. I do it exactly that way instead of doing this (1 in 2c)x6. I think it still turned out fine albeit some mishapen continents 😜 I don’t have IG, so I will show you my finished work on Ravelry….😉

That was challenging for me, I've never mirrored a pattern before, or done decreases while changing colors. I had read a comment about someone's coming out elongated and at first I was really worried that mine would be, too, but the decrease rows rounded it out just fine. Than you for the tutorial!

Hi.. tried your pattern your way in right hand, ended up having a mirrored world😂. So tried again by your same patter but bottom up in reverse order (18th row first, with 5W, 1B).. still ended up having a mirrored world 😂😂 my bad.. I just realised that each of your rows should be mirrored independently when doing right hand crochet for this pattern.. will try that and get back.. I think it will work..

I'm getting suck on stitch count with this, when you have the inc rounds, are you switching colors following the repeat...example...like for round 2, its an inc in each st, are you ment to do 2 blues in the first st, then 2 green in the next then 1 green and 1 blue in the next? I hope I'm explaining my question right...just found your channel and love it.

Thank you so much. Yes you have to change the color while increasing the stitches. Also if you are a right handed crocheter it would be great to mirror the rows as I am left handed crocheter and I don't know how to flip the video so I couldn't do that. Hope it helps you.

For those who dont get right the figure of the continets, the pattern has mistakes in several rows, the order should be (X inc, Xsc)

In R5 it should be ( 1 inc, 3 sc), as in the rest of the rows, otherwise the figure of the continents gets crooked

I have never faced much problem following the right handed patterns. But if you feel so then you can always do the mirror image of my pattern. There will not be any problem. Hope this helps.

There is no sl st ch1 for rows. It is worked in continuous rows... hope this helps..
