If your confused why mars said "Where do you think you and the moon came from?" It's because in the past there was another planet named "Theia", between Earth and Mars, and then Theia collided with Earth and then made a ring. Therefore... the debries merging into what today is the moon. Idk why I said this, I just thought this was helpful.

Here's why the theory exists The Gravity ratio of moon to earth is 1 to 6 And comparing that to other planets it's kinda too much for our moon just to be passing by and being trapped by earth's gravity So it's assumed that moon was made when a chunk of earth broke of by some other heavenly body colliding and we got a chunk floating in space we call moon

This is actually true, because the earth had a collision with a more sized object on the top or its center, which flung out many debris forming rings, and then those ring particles collided calling west form, the moon, which the moon was extremely close.
