@@SolarEdgeTechnologies I am having a similar issue. My installer has given me "full access" but, like plazman47, I also do not have the tabs/ability shown in this video. Is there some other access level I should be asking for other than "full access"?

It appears you can not drag over module groups to create strings. You will need to Ctl-Click to select modules before you "String it".

This layout program would be very helpful as a homeowner, but it is not available in the homeowner's application, only to the installers who get all the tabs and diagramming capabilities shown in this video.

I know we own it not my installer I paid cash If I want to add or rearrange or add panels to the Portal I can't. Would have to call my installer to put them in. So this is just a gimmick to make you think you can. when this inverter dies I will be going with someone else just for this reason. Or Install a rs232 that they got rid of.

The inverter is good in full sun. I have two systems 7200 and 3800 with different inverters. On cloudy days the Solaredge SE7600 us is not that good my 3800 with a inverter made in 2004 Beacon Power M5 make the same power as my 7200. So low light or cloudy must have something to do with the optimizer's.

It would be real nice if I could assign module numbers within a string in the order wired. Some diagnostics give faults as a % distance from either end. I record this and give copy to customer but it would be nice to see it on layout.

that explains a lot! We replaced a few optimizers based on flags in the layout, but the % fault kept saying it was at the beginning of the + string. So basically the beginning of the string can be in the middle of the row -_-

My "Admin" tab doesn't display a "physical layout" tab option and I haven't been able to see the layout that I used to be able to see for the past month. Can't get anyone from support to respond to my issue. Is there an update that I'm supposed to be able to download to see all the tabs shown in this video. My system was installed in Oct. of 2016.
