A mix of HPsynthV's RealVoice Growl plugin for the harsher growls (on the various "shot" throughout the song) and Voice Drive in an external DAW for the more raspy parts :)

I've used HPsynthV's RealVoice Growl script for those sections, + an extra plugin in the DAW while mixing called "Voice Drive". It's a plugin that was included with Hatsune Miku NT, but I think any plugin that's able to add distortion would be suitable to replace Voice Drive. As for the process, it's mostly trial and error with RealVoice Growl, I don't have a particular workflow. It can sound a bit rough at first, but SynthV's retakes feature actually helps a lot with this. The plugin lets you change the base frequency and modulation for pitch and for various other parameters too, I usually select the option to use Vibrato Envelope to control the intensity of the growl on the note itself, that way you can better control the effect :)

Yes, HPsynthV's Real Voice plugin lets you copy the pitch from an acapella file :) It does need editing afterwards to properly fit the chosen voice, but in general the cleaner the acapella, the better results you'll get right away

Yes, you can open the SVP file with SynthV Studio Basic :)
