A close up view of attaching the battery leads to the battery would be helpful. Hopefully I did it correctly. I couldn’t tell if the brass part goes above the thing or below crammed next to the battery.

As long as the wires are connected to the correct terminal you're ok. User preference as to location of the excess brass.

I'm trying to find a video on the difference between the Intellishock 60 and the SolarStop 80, besides the .60 vs .80 output, why would I want the 60 vs 80?

Give us a call at 800-282-6631 and one of our consultants can help you with this. A quick rundown would be the SS80 has more output, glass solar panel, covered on/off switch, and sealed electrical components.

So flashing green then yellow is normal? I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with it since I got it! Apparently it’s not broken

Correct. Green/yellow is normal.

When plugged into 110 to charge, the charging light on the 110 V charger blinks red/green. I can not find information on what those lights indicate. Thanks for the help.

Am i correct that for this model you can't adjust the angle of the solar panel? Is there a reason this feature was not carried over from the previous models?
@premier1supplies
@premier1supplies 11 ай бұрын
It's a fixed panel, but propping the back of the energizer is a simple way to adjust the angle.

About how long does it take the plug in to charge the energizer? The sun? I’m bringing Sheep home tomorrow and it’s flashing red and yellow when turned on

It depends on how low the battery is. It could take an afternoon in the sun or overnight on the plug-in. Use a battery meter to check the voltage on the battery to make sure it optimal for use. Give us a call at 800-282-6631 and we'll help with this process.

Should I charge the battery via 110 to start off with, and then let solar do it's thing? I'm in Texas and have to face it north because we have huge trees in the south direction. Hoping this works out! Just set it all up by myself. Time will tell. 😅

In your case, charge via 110 to start. We're concerned about your panel orientation, try angling the unit so the panel is parallel to the earth in order to catch the sun high in the sky. Facing the panel North is likely to do very little charging.

Would you recommend this energizer or the Intellishock 60 for goats and sheep?

Both work well. Depends on the amount of fence you need to run. Please give us a call at 800-282-6631 to speak directly with a product consultant.

Do i have the ability to connect this panel box to say a post to get it up off the ground a few feet? That way when it rains dirt doesnt get in/on it tearing it up or blocking the panels from getting light.
@premier1supplies
@premier1supplies Жыл бұрын
There's a slot in the back for this purpose.

So if it's yellow, how can you tell if it's on?
@premier1supplies
@premier1supplies Жыл бұрын
Yellow when the solar panel receives enough light. Flashes green when operating. It switches between the colors.

@premier1supplies Thanks! I saw later that it alternates. All set up now! Definitely needed your videos with the energizer and tester. Easier to follow than the written instructions, so thanks!

How many feet of 12 g wire can this power?
@premier1supplies
@premier1supplies Жыл бұрын
We have it powering 1-1/2 miles of 3 strand cattle fence. So potentially up to 4.5 miles depending on weed load, ground, soil conditions, etc.
