Awesome video Jon! I actually went from a oem pump with a 14/17 solas impeller to a solas 12v and a 10/16 hooker in my 760 blaster 1 and I can tell the difference in hook up and holeshot

I'm a old bloke in Australia. Just got myself a old 2006 Yamaha FXHO Cruiser. With a blown MR-1 FX1100a-e engine. Yah a big hole in the engine block number 1 cylinder with a Conrod sticking out. 😶‍🌫️ I'm like your self a old drag & off road racer that like to open up the throttle every now & again. So this is giving me the chance to tweak up the old FXHO cruiser. Looking into all types of go fast mods for this old Yamaha Cruiser. It's just a old Cruising WaveRunner but I want it to come alive fast when I decide to open up that throttle.

pumps are the only thing ive never looked into yet. ive always gone OEM stock 144 pumps for my yamaha. If i do get one of these nice mag pumps for bouy racing, what all do i need to purchase to get it lake ready?

Thanks for watching. You will at minimum need the pump, and bearings/seals. Maybe an impeller depending on what you have currently.
