as nice as this is and all these restos i rather have one that come out the factory any day ... warts an all .. just something about genuine parts , alot of these restos have aftermarket parts on them and there nothing like original .. thats my opinion and im stickin to it

the worst thing about these monaros was the terrible shifter mounting ,to the crossmember and the cable clutch on non bathurst 4 speeds...wth was holden thinking? all models before had hydraulic clutches...this was the worst point of hktg models.

1 point about this car in the video,that is so weird,the top of the doors above the doortrim front and rear is yellow metal not covered in black trim like it should be...thats really strange,all that attention to detail and then to do that,quite odd,never seen any other monaros do that either...

my Brother was a Holden salesman in 69 70 and he sold a lot of these and I remember going to see the HG model in the showroom when it was released and I have gotta tell you they were no where near as nice as this NEW!
