I saw the fiberglass dent on the starboard side in the video..is there a boo boo on the port side of the hull?

There is a little bit of damage but smaller then the dent on the starboard side.

How do Arimas this size compare to a Hewescraft 180 Sportsman?

The Hewescraft has less deck space for the size and an open bow. If you want enclosed storage and a little more deck space for the size an Arima will work good.
