Just bought a new 2019 Jetta r line. For right now it’s good but the transmission makes a weird noise around 30 MPH and I didn’t really notice it until someone pointed it out. It doesn’t really affect how it drives. I haven’t taken it in yet but literally everyone I know of who has taken theirs in because of this, the dealership says it’s normal. Thankfully these new VWs have a killer warranty so best believe if if breaks, I’m getting a new transmission. Other than that, I love the car a lot !
