Next Sequence is dope for testing what sequence you want to play next without having to put them in Song Mode, just press Next Sequence and after the current sequence plays the next will e.g. intro to hook or to verse or whatever the sequence is you want played next. Just basically trying arrangement ideas is what I use it for and just recently discovered its and it’s great. I learnt what Next Sequence did by accidentally pressing the button and caught on to what it was doing and been using it ever since. Some people won’t use it if they already have it in their head how they want their arrangement.

Having the volume knob on the top protects it from getting snagged on things when coupled with a Decksaver vs having it on the back while in the backpack. That track mute button is life! And the speaker got a lot more use from me than I initially thought. You didn’t mention that the Live2 has a 1/4” headphone jack vs the 1/8” on the Live. That was a much needed update that I hope will make it into their next portable release. I’ll say this, you never really know what you’re going to need until that need arrives. In that moment whatever that is you’ll have it with the Live 2.

I mean if they bought another machine out it needs to be more analog and digital meaning it needs to have some of the old converters in it even if not the old one something close to equivalent to what the MPC 2500 had in it or the 4,000 one of them something if it's another controller they can save that shitt you don't need another controller

I've never compared them but something like the 1000 I have now doesn't sound any better to me than my newer MPCs but I'm definitely for improved sound quality. 🍻

A new piece has got to be coming, I’m patiently waiting, I wanted Akai to have their software to level it is now and have good stability, now the only reason I stayed away from this whole line of mpc’s is I didn’t like the sound from the jump…..then the whole “CONVERTERS” discussion started …..I hope the next line simply sounds better and better build quality…..I’ve seen too many stories of mpc live just dying out!!!🫡🇨🇦🔥

I've never heard any mpc lives dying..what MPC do you currently own? I like how these sound. They are relatively transparent.
