Sir in Maine how much do you pay for a cord of split dry wood delivered, and I mean 4 ft wide 4 ft tall and 8 ft long cord

It depends on how proactive you are. If you wait until the middle of heating season to try and buy a chord of wood, it will be expensive. Also yo do not want to burn split wood in the boiler. Full stick size is preferred in this type of device. $200/chord is possible if you plan and purchase prior to the heating season. You can get it for even less if you buy tree length and cut it up yourself.
