Josh, WIN is part of the WINnebago name and this one is a winner! I always love looking in the pass through and seeing double welded aluminum framing. Love the "Chaise Lounge" reminds me of a lounge in a Diesel pusher. Just not too thrilled about the table arrangement. That heated pass through is great for anyone that wants to add lithium batteries and do 3 1/2 seasons. The extra height is fantastic for additional cabinet storage...........the drawer under the sink in the bathroom is a great idea. Needless to say the addition of Azdel gives this a huge advantage over the brands that haven't modernize yet. Great wood tones! Love that medium wood finish. Great weight to keep from having to use a 3/4 ton pick-up. Any heavy half should do great with this one. LOVE the larger microwave and oven! QUESTION: Is the Voyage replacing the Minnie Plus? Kind of a happy medium model between the Minnie and Minnie Plus? Look forward to them adding additional floor plans............would love to see a rear kitchen. Great vid Josh!

Minnie Plus is gone. Aspects of it were merged into the "Minnie" and aspects were carried into the new Voyage.

Not surprised to see this tower over the Geo Pro, but was kind of surprised with the height difference it had over the Cougar. At 27 foot long this isn't a behemoth of a trailer, but that L lounge, super size fridge and king bed with side tables and room to move around could sure make a person think other wise. Fits that I want to travel and fit in state/national park campgrounds, and I want plenty of room inside slot, and it does it well.

You forgot to mention where the batteries go. Is there supposed to be a tray up front behind the propane tanks? I am cross-shopping this unit with the Jayco 272RBOK HT Travel Trailer and it seems like Jayco put more thought into their units. They may be heavier but I think they may be a more rugged trailer as well and they definitely nailed the storage better than the Winnebago. The Winnebago is lighter, has a little more water tank storage all around and I believe is more expensive than the Jayco but I honestly think the Jayco HT is a better trailer all around except for weight savings..... or am I missing something?

Standard battery location on a travel trailer is behind the propane tank for the last 3+ years or so. Regarding your comparison of the Eagle HT vs Voyage... I'm afraid I have to agree with you. I wouldn't normally "Take sides" on a comparison between brands we have featured here, but I do think Eagle "wins" overall in that comparison.

What is the Cargo Capacity of this trailer? This trailer is gorgeous! Winnebago has a home run with this one. I love the space inside and the overall size is perfect, for National Park/State Park camping, and it would tow nicely with my new F150 V-8 5.0L truck, depending on CCC of course. It is the perfect camper for me and my 2 dogs! Love it!!

Will this on come with the 12v fridge as an option? I love the rear bath trailers since my wife has no knee in her right leg it is permanently straight. Sometimes she uses her right leg as a foot stool when people are staring at it trying to figure out why it is sticking straight out when she sits. Anyway off topic, thanks for showing all these different floor plans.

I like the Swiss army dinofa! Very neat and handy seating. With plenty of Solar panels and several batteries this looks like it would be a good off grid camper. Love the stats on all of the tanks.

50amp standard. Prepped and ready for 2nd A/C Between their radiant package, standard 15k air, and the small size of this RV it's simply not something most people would need, but it is available for those seeking a more specialized variety of comfort!

It's something they offer in some models and theoretically could here with some tweaking to the bedroom-to-kitchen transition wall I think. And that's why we carry so many different brands - to zero in on the one that best fits each owner's wants and needs!

Yep. L-Lounges are larger than a hide-a-bed or theater seat (wider specifically). So, if you can fit an L-Lounge, then you can fit the other two types of sofas.

Sorry, but ... what? What do you mean metal roof? It has stamped steel trusses which are light like aluminum, but still has a 3'8" wood decking and conventional roof membrane.

"Lateral step" is my answer as they each do things the other doesn't. *WINNEBAGO VOYAGE:* Azdel, 7ft ceilings, 12cu ft fridge, 10gal water heater *COUGAR:* Heavier Insulation Pkg, Full Time Warranty, Auto Leveling (except 22RBS Cougar), iN*Command They compare well, but each have some very strong individual qualities to help them stick out.

It would be a tough choice between the Cougar and the Winnie. As popular as auto level has become I wonder how long before Bigfoot offers a after market add on auto level. Of course being a add on it would be a lot more expensive.

Josh, no disrespect meant as I love your videos but I feel you should edit this one to remove the part about not getting a 3/4 ton truck and 35' fifth wheel. This model is both heavier and larger than the Minnie 2455BHS and as many folks have learned after purchase, is NOT safely towable by most half-tons on the market. Once a battery is installed, propane is filled and gear is loaded, the tongue weight often causes payload ratings to be exceeded once passengers are present. This type of marketing can be misleading and is what gets dealers a bad rep for not representing the unit's towability properly. The larger pass thru alone will get many folks in trouble when it comes to loaded tongue weight. I know it's only my opinion but as someone in the Winnebago group who sees the weight debates and customer experiences daily, I respectfully ask you to reconsider that wording.

I appreciate the input and wish more folks could learn to have an intelligent discussion rather than an outright friday night facebook fight when they disagree about something. I think it's important to note we examine every truck/trailer/client combination individually when we work with clients at Haylett RV. "Safety before the Sale" is a cornerstone of our business & a big reason why we don't sell near the number of fifth wheels as many places -- we won't overload clients into unsafe situations (which is RAMPANT in fifth wheels + half tons). I feel at 660lbs dry hitch weight and shorter length this RV is well within the realm of safe 1/2 ton towing *for vehicles with appropriate capacities using properly balanced weight distribution hitching.* That leaves plenty of room for the expectation of 2-3 passengers (minding the first 150lbs of driver weight is already factored into the vehicle's payload rating) and distributed cargo. If something is unsafe or questionable, then we make sure a client knows before we pass the point of no return.

I think it's a case of how it looks in person vs. simply on screen. Hard as I try to give plenty of angles to see things I think sometimes you just have to "try them on for size" like a pair of pants in a dressing room

I have a similar shower door / toilet layout in my Grand Design. It doesn't bother me at all. I think Josh makes a good point about camera angles vs seeing how the room feels in person. One thing though is I'd take a single-wide fridge then swap in a dinette and recliner chairs instead of the Swiss knife L-sofa.

@@webcompanion No such furniture arrangements are possible in this layout. You'd need to go to the bit longer super slide models which will put the fridge back on the camp-side of the RV to make room for that much extra seating. The good news? Winnebago makes those too.
