Lovely weekend boat or shorter holiday boat, these 30’ boats are extremely well planned. The best part of this is it has a proper bed and you can get a proper nights sleep. Wet rooms are a compromise but worth it to get a good bed lounge and dinette.

Shame the bed is so short. 6 foot isn’t even standard bed length.

@@JasperJanssen cut down the size of that seat next to the bed and that would allow you to lengthen the bed, better yet would be to make an L Shaped couch that runs along the starboard side encompassing the length of both the existing bed and couch and have the whole length pull out into a bed at nights

Years ago we had a 26' motorhome. We did just fine for a weekend or more, and this boat has much more usable space. I was surprised how roomy it looked. Remember if you need more space, you're never more than a couple feet from the towpath. A bit of decorating, and she'd be a real sweetie. About price, note that many of the boats not sold yet are "under offer"for a while before they're sold, ie, there may be room on the price on any of these boats.

Stephen Dye I have been trying to get my husband aboard for a few years now but he is frightened of the water especially with a smaller boat as he saw one go down in the lock because of hitting the cill! This would be ideal for me and the dog but who is going to get the spiders??

I never understand why English boat sites go on about cupboards, sinks and all the 'trimmings'. Dutch sites tell you useful stuff like the hull thickness, engine and steering gear details, battery and alternator types and ages etc. Above all, they tell you the price without having to sign up for anything.

Hull is 10/6/4 10 mm base plate, 6mm hull sides and 4mm upper see the downloadable brochure. Engine is a Cannaline 25. Steering is visible tiller directly attached to the rudder, there is no gear.

This is just a quick walk through showing you the layout. Looking in cupboards etc shows you everything you can’t see on their brochures. A walkthrough in real time gives you a real feel for the boat, the video isn’t distorted by camera lenses and shows an accurate portrayal of sizes etc and either sparks someone’s interest or shows them that it’s not for them. It’s a great way to look at boats when you’re not yet in the market, it allows the dreamers like myself to indulge without wasting anyone’s time and then it entices the serious buyers who will go on to book a viewing. If you’re interested then you go to their website and it’ll have all the info you asked for and more...without signing up for anything. The price is never put on here and that’s a good thing. The videos stay up long after they’re sold so the price would quickly become irrelevant.

Because that information can easily be provide through a schematics and data boilerplate format that needs neither audio nor moving visual. This video and it’s accompanied narration give a person with narrowboat experience a feel for how the boat handles and how to fit her out for the ideal type of cruise and crew. And it provides entertainment value to those enamored with but not personal experience of narrowboat life. Something your Dutch videos as you describe hold no interest

I would gut out the dinette and replace it with folding furniture that can Also be tossed up on the tow path and instead have the fittings to put a platform for an air bed to be put down upon. If this is gonna be used for a vacation adventure chest coolers could go there to expand the perishable food capacity

It's almost perfect. It's just why bunch things up when not needed. Take an extra two feet off from the bedroom. To give you a decent shower that you don't share the same floor of the toilet. Lastly, only the engine placement would be a bitch to reac, clean and maintain.
