Just for future reference, the Puerto Rican Army, aka the Puerto Rican National Guard is part of the United States Army as per the Treaty of Paris due to it being a Territory of the U.S. and as such is paid the same as all members of the American armed forces. The only difference being the COLA (cost of living allowance).

Looked up stats for Norway, and the figures I found were higher. Median income in the army was $57 473, $69 887 in the airforce, and $79 093 in the navy. Now, that may not be the income when you start off.

This has to include all benefits as well as pay. an E4, less than 2 years, in the US Army only makes $2,633.70 per month. Thats a lot less than this video wants you to believe. But its better than when I went in. A Private made $90.70 per month. Didnt make a $100/month until I made E3
