Dame Vera Lynn you are a true British Icon. You did a wonderful job enertaining our troops through the difficult times. Dame Vera Lynn i may not know you in person but i would like to thank you for what did during WW2 the survivng veterans are so proud of you and the fallen are looking down on you. Dame Vera Lynn... What a legend! Incredible to still be singing at that age and to have given all the soldiers hope during such dark times... But she denies that she deserved something so special, which is not true. She deserves something like that just as much as "the boys" do... :-)
