In Bishop Burbidge's homily for the Solemn Mass and Dedication of the Altar for the Cathedral of Saint Thomas More, Bishop Burbidge recalled the themes of preparation that have guided us over the last three years: remember, rejoice, and renew. These themes have enabled us to enter into a sincere jubilee celebration for all the ways the Lord has blessed us over the last 50 years.
May we build upon our strong foundations and rich history, and look forward, with the grace of God and through the powerful intercession of Mary our Mother, St. Thomas More and all the saints, to a bright and promising future as we go forth in the name of Jesus our Lord, the One who makes all things new.
