Thank you, Hector! Such a beautiful episode, so much to ponder upon - especially regarding being a child of God and a disciple of God, and the last excerpt from CCC and the prayer of St. Elizabeth 🔥! God bless you and sustain you and your family 🙏!

Friend, Thanks for the kind affirmation and comment, which I found a bit puzzling. Are you suggesting that we are not called to imitate Christ? That would be problematic since Our Lord beckons us throughout the gospels to follow Him and to imitate Him in all things. We unite ourselves to Him precisely by conforming ourselves to the Gospel He preached and the example He gave us. Christian discipleship is predicated on the “Imitatio Christi.” In this context, imitating and uniting are not mutually exclusive terms, but are intimately related one to the other. What say you?

@@HectorMolinaCatholicEvangelist I say, it turns out that to follow him is to be united with him in *his* death and resurrection. It turns out that to follow him is to be united with him in *his* worship of the Father. It turns out that we apart from him can do nothing, it's only he that can do what's is right. The question what should I do ? Should I imitate Christ or should I do something else ? is meaningless. *In him* we are complete, on our own we are nothing.
