About the Muska fit. I would stay true to size. I don't know if you've noticed a difference between the White/Navy and Grey colorway. I have all colorways up to date and the grey ones look and feel different on feet. I love the fit and look of the black and the white Muskas. I doubled up on the grey and black ones and just thought it was the grey pair I wore first, but when I tried the second pair it was about the same. I feel the grey ones might have been in a different factory or something.

I’m glad I stumbled back upon your channel. I have been skating the All white Muska’s about a month now,maybe closer to a month and a half. I have various videos on my channel,and I’d be honored if you & anyone else dropped by to show some love. Right off rip, thank you for this Video. I started skating in 04 so I missed the original Muska release. These new models,I must say, fit well on my foot. I wear a 9 1/2. I HAVE TO WEAR 2 pears of socks 🧦 when I skate in order for me not to move around in the shoe. I notice that I slide around on the insole,and it truly is annoying because I’m a flip trip heavy/transition/street skater 🛹 Keep the videos coming! I hope the Heretic II GET released. They were my all time favorite Emerica shoe 👟

Bro! I love your videos! I collect skate shoes too but I’m in the Midwest with not a lot of skaters around me so I’m locked in a box! lol. Could you do a video explaining all of the brands and who they are owned by. I just recently learned that vans is owned by vanity fair, etnies is in Walmart, and lakai sold the company(?) I feel like I’m missing a lot of info!!!!!

The sole on the 198 is actually fine and partially based on the K2 sole anyway, it's just that it clearly doesn't work with that upper. The shape as a result just makes it look like an almost entirely different shoe. The 197 on the other hand has that Quattro sole and works fine, you just feel eS rush this stuff out and it only works about 50% of the time.

I like soletech, but mainly the ‘94-‘99 or so era. I do still like them and some of the newer stuff they have on offer, but my favorite are the classics and reissues that are mostly true to the original.

I don’t think they’re choosing not to do the OG sole because they want to, but most likely due to some legal issue. Same with the 197. I’m alright with it. I’ve been skating the Evant and I really like the sole for skating. Plus, the shoe still looks amazing. I’ll be picking up the other colorway as well. I’m going to do my first shoe review/wear test on the 298 once my Swift 1.5 shoes are done for.

those things suck, they shoulda bought the rights for it back from lakai. the Koston 1 is the greatest sk8 shoe of all times, and a close 2nd is tied, Muska and creager lol. CT-IV chet Thomas globes, DC Danny Way 5 the "Infinity" , DC Lynx, Sal 23,Etnirs Lo-Cut and Mike V models. Vans Simon Woodstock, Cab 4 and Rowley XLT oh ya-Jason lee airwalk and Diffs Stromboli💯 ✊🏻😀✊🏻

needed the first ones, but they didn't buy the rights back from Lakai😢 don't get me wrong in happy for the muska n creager reissues, those and the Koston were the 3 best skate shoes of the late 90s. but they dropped the ball BAD on those one nine seven Koston 01things. sole is the same garbage they used for the new Quattro(another dope shoe ruined) Etnies needs to give us THE OG LO-CUT from the mid 90s, and Emerica needs to give us OG Marc Johnson's, Templetons, Reynolds 1 and 3, Etnies Mike Vallely. Boom. Don't get me started on all the vans pro models of the 90s, or the Nice (NSS) shoes, SHEEEEIIIT DUFFS STROMBOLIS😢😢😢😢😢 Airwalk Jason Lees❤ Chet Thomas (CT-IV) globes S. A. G. Osiris (Peter Smolik) those had a Velcro thing on the back, and they sold pants with a Velcro thing like on the backside of the heel and it kept the bottoms of ur pants from getting wet or stepped on, was called SAG or Smolik Athletic Gear.... dude the Shorty's team from like 98 thru like 2001 or 02? psshhhhh..... fulfill the dream was stuck in EVERYONES damn VCR for a month straight up💯

have the k2 reissue, it fits fine length wise but the heel is really open and kind of mid foot also is a little looser, def have to lace tighter than usual, ordered a 12 instead of 13 and will see
