I actually have bought close to 1k shards earlier when they were as low as 25 and cheaper each. So I donno now my enchanter that was switched 2 days ago to drop mining is leveling up by shattering shards.

Even with 30 in disenchanting, another 30 in disenchanting greens and 20% resourcefulness I'm barely making even on shattering q3 shards. Tested it on 100 shards so not much, but still should be enough to know what to expect. So not sure if it's even worth to try putting any points into it

Sometimes I wonder at the mindset of the blizzard developers. It was obvious from the start that storm dust was out of whack. Couple that with the refusal to fix the public orders and it just leaves me shaking my head. I guess in the end they are just game developers and not rocket scientists 😂.

I highly doubt there will be an epic crystal shatter, at least not season 1. Once S2 starts they might add this but still doubtful. The whole idea is that in DF dust was cheap because all professions made cheap AF greens. Now only profession equipment is green quality and still prior to the addition of shatter, only BS hammer to dust shuffle was profitable. Every other craft is a rare quality item -> gleaming shard and thus not profitable. With the shatter addition we might see leatherworking be paired with enchanting since skin farms have not been nerfed as hard as cloth did.

Haha, shards are up to 140g on NA. I was thinking about buying a few thousand of them at 50g each as an investment but didn't. Ah well!

@@dalama1161 exactly my toughts. I was even guessing it will require 10 shards. But on the other side somehow i was sure the prize on dust will drop dramaticly and was right. At 4pm shards was 50g,dusts around 100. At 11pm shards around 105g and dusts drop to 38. Will se how much will be the shards today so i have something else in mind.

How does this make any sense? Tailoring greens require 3 dusts... 1 for exquisite bolt and 2 for the craft itself, it's absolutely a gold loss. Better craft Incanter Shards or Blacksmith Hammers

I do this shuffle often with Alchemist Robes. It costs roughly 330g on my end to craft one, but if I get the R3 6x Proc, its worth roughly 2K in mats. I promise it does yield profit if you do it on a bigger scale. Doing 20-30 has a lot of variance. Just did a shuffle with 500 Core Alloy and made 100k in that quick hour.

Depending on the price of ally core, but they are roughly the same price. But with enough skill you will get more t3 dust when doing de.

Your wrong I was making chiefs hats on eu last night crafting cost is around 202gold keep going with r1 dusts and sell r2 and 3 there’s a decent margin if you do enough

@@SuRpriiZeGaming Well, it only costs 140g to make garments tho, the reason he misdirects people to buy up dust is to make dust price go up, but he is making garments himself... no idea why people dont see the logic in this, i mean sure, his plan is good for the economy overall, but it only fills up his pockets massively while the small people crafting 100 hats won't make much profit. Oh and on top of that, disenchanting blues gives you bismuth and other mats. He OBVIOUSLY thought of that and is just misdirecting everyone to spend on dust rofl

Yeah, when bolts were cheap and with alt specialized into crafting EWB it was worth it, but right now with individual bolt costing like 77-80g I don't see it

i really dont se this working on my server... dust is way to cheap, i cant see profit in any of those shuffles unless you proc a ton of resourcefulness or you already have a ton of gold to buy stacks of gleaming shards, and even so i dont think the margin is worth, dont know... maybe im missing something or my server is screwed

The prices of dust aren't just on your server anymore, material & consumables are region wide. Everyone in the EU shares materials & likewise for NA

I guess that I don't understand why people like you play an MMO. All you do is farm and try to accumulate gold. For what? There is so much more to the game. Those of you who crazy farm and manipulate the prices of the AH, just make things annoying for everyone else. I think that Blizzard needs to set a cap on how many items a person can put up on the AH in a day.
