What if i want to model a hyper elastic beam that has large deflection? What assumptions will i take then and how could i possibly make the calculations bearable? Thankyou

you only mentioned the first derivative θ quickly somewhen at 14:00, why? and why θ = dy/dX¹ (y is the deflection, X¹ is the axis coordinate) is so obvious to you ? (but not for me) maybe it follows from the curvature or such 🤔 and other unexplained thing is “although” 18:25 the non-zero σ12 component of stress, having 16:22 that ε12 of strain = 0 and the Hooke-type stress-strain relation ... the claim “due to the shear force” can’t be against the constitutive relation, can it?
