@@dwyrin I didn't know its an actual joseki, but my first feeling was that it was a little bad for black yet after looking at it for a little more i am just in awe with how beautiful of a move it is. Great video

Great to see Lee Changho still going with his simple and solid style. You can see that he doesn't like AI moves very much. Btw. Song Hyeryung is a girl, not a guy :)

6:36 seems like white had a bad attack of nerves to me, I often make stupid overplays like that when I’m super afraid of my opponent.

Heck, if your house is on fire and you can't possibly quench that, why not just go fishing to get something to eat. On a serious note, Song being a professional player, I think his play is not simply unthoughtful, but the problem is that his opponent has (by definition) Lee Changho level reading and judgment and can thus deliver solid and (apparently) slow moves that nonetheless destroy all but the very top-level pros. So my hypothesis is that Song's fast style in this game did not determine his loss, but just the manner of his loss. That said, I still do appreciate the didactic value of super solid top professional play for amateurs in particular.

Yeah, the higher up the ladder you go, the fewer chances you're going to have to really capitalize on an overstep. So, when one pops up...its go time!
