Really interested in this AD/DA. Wondering how the conversion stacks up against the contenders. I want to expand my Apogee Symphony Mk1 for summing through X Desk and hoping this can do it. The price is really nice.

Interested in the conversion too. I have a Lynx Aurora 16 as my mine converter, it would be great to have 8 more ins and outs for patching gear but the conversion has to be rock solid, as close as possible to my Lynx Aurora Mk1

@@TheRickdoggie Thanks for that. While DR is important to me, the Apogee (which is pretty outdated) still sounds better to me than many new semi-pro units I have tried. Looking forward to trying the Alpha 8 out.

Why is this being called an Expander? Doubling up on existing audio terms is confusing. I clicked on this because I was curious how/why SSL would implement dynamics in an AD/DA.
