I was psyched to unearth my Zune a couple of years ago, charged it up to take it out on a walk - but it crashed, and while it was thinking about what was next, erased all of the music, episodes of my podcast from 2006-08, and all of the pictures from those times.

A wonderful set from Coldcut/Strictly Kev brought me here. It's fortuitous as I was forced to take a long holiday weekend while my wife is at a teambuilding thing, so I'm here with my two dogs, doing a little client work, drinking beer while sitting out on the terrace in the sunshine on an autumnal day. And then these cool tunes are dropped on me.
