Funnily enough, Joel and Scott's connected task contributed to both Lizzie and Jimmy's deaths. Cause thanks to Joel telling them to go after Scott, Jimmy was too focused on hounding Scott to change targets to regain hearts, and Lizzie came up with pushing Scott into the void to help Joel succeed, which got her killed by a kamikaze Enderman protecting Scott. Seriously, the Watchers decided to break Jimmy's curse by absolutely ruining Joel's day.
