I am definitely on your side in this argument. As somebody who is very easily confused, an instruction of flipping the card or paper slip over should of been implemented, verbal or written. Maybe even given a single label on each set that gets removed when handing out slips. Heck, just folding the papers in half is a much better idea. It hides the prompt and can then be coded for each team. And, to negate the "why would 'tims team' be a prompt?" Argument, that could of actually been a prompt. A fun tricky one to get. It could of been a genuine proper prompt and I would have never batted an eye. So yeah! I don't blame you for not turning that paper slip over. No indicators or instructions and thus a slight mishap. I do not blame you.

I could totally see that happening to me (minus the top hat part) since I know for a fact that when I was in school, there were at least a few times when the majority of the class only did half of an assignment, only doing one side of a double-sided page. There's a reason why, when filling out official paperwork, the pages are numbered like "page 1 of 2" or say something like "continues on back" because it's simple to do & prevents a common and easy-to-make mistake. I have also gotten "(person-in-room's name)," "(teammate's name)'s team," and "(team name)" as Pictionary prompts before so, like him, I wouldn't have thought anything was odd about it.
