I think Jim's rep for being bad at minecraft comes from just getting tunnel vision when he is flustered. He has skills, he is just not very good at observing hazards and enemies incoming, its how you get such iconic deaths as "drowning in a puddle" and "walking off skynet holding a baked potato". Etho (and later Tango) being his eyes and ears so he could focus made for a really strong performance. Edit a few days later: I was thinking about it and my theory also makes sense with him clutching in 3v1 dodgebolt :D

That definitely carried you through so many challenging areas of the dungeon. I’ve seen so many people get taken out by any one of those areas, and you made it through all of them in 1 run. That was the most exciting DO2 run I have ever seen, and I've watched a lot of them. It almost feels poetic--when clank hit max, everyone figured that was the end, but NO! He makes it all the way through the Mines, into the Burning Dark, back out again, ESCAPES THE MINES and survives longer than ANYONE expected him to! Perhaps it's an omen...

And people named the curse after canaries brought into mines to warn miners of bad air, so him escaping the Black Mines alive here felt symbolic.

I saw one of your MCC videos and knew if you could ever partner with Etho you both would crush whatever was put in front of you.
