fuck right mate. a great band or musician is defined by growth, progress and diversity. Biffy clearly have shown it throughout their entire career and Only Revolutions is a class fucking album. I havent bought a cd in a while an this one was worth the money. Great lads as well.

He uses other guitars live but the Gibsons are only used during the recording part. If he didnt use Fenders it would take a bit away from the Biffy character because hes been playing Strats the whole time. I like his guitars. Suit him perfectly.

@Phylophil I do love the band. You missed my point. I bet EVERYONE in the crows loved them, that's why they managed to get into this intimate little gig. Everyone on here reckons they would go crazy, but I guarantee that they would clam up the second the cameras were rolling.

Yeah, mostly uses Strats live. Uses Les Paul's, Telecaster's etc. in the studio. He uses a white Gretsch live as well.

don't rage guys, this isn't so much a 'gig' but a performance, in a classy place, which is why the crowd are respecting the venue, and just listening to the band. Besides some people go to gigs and stay sobre and don't like being toe to toe with sweaty men :L

You have to remember that they played this small gig before the album even came out. Only eager biffy fans would know bubbles and born on a horse at this point, and even then not very well. But yeah, if the real hardcores came along then Maida Vale's studio would've been fucked.

most tracks from only revolutions are way better live because simon screams and the whole band's live sound is really unique and adds a certain flare to the songs that you dont get on the album versions.. still a good album though and i love biffy
