The only mistake I see was that it was 39.6 milimeters not 34.6. You need to include the 5mm towards the left side of the piece. But I am just starting and this tutorial helped a lot ! Thank you for your work.

This tutorial is great, really liked the way it was explained, I would pause the video so I could follow at my own pace. Thank you very much!!!

I like the tutorial but you made a mistake in placing the holes at 34.5 instead of 39.5 from the spot you set the dimension, so you made the part wrong. Besides that it was great.

Appreciated, thanks for your time to comment. I will be more careful while creating new tutorials.
Video could have been better if the details were explained, since this is for beginners I would like to learn the use of each command. Moreover, the pace you were going at was a bit fast for a beginner, even though the video can be paused it would be useful to go a bit slow.
Sorry for that. I will keep your suggestions in mind while making upcoming tutorials.

This has been very helpful but I also have some advice (no negativity) if you have time you can add some captions because with the robot I can understand most words but some parts I really can’t tell what it’s saying. Edit: oh wait I’m a idiot I could have turn on the caption function.

Coming from Inventor, I would have created this part by creating the features using a new solid and choosing to circular pattern the solid body and then joining all the solid bodies as one solid. Prevents mistakes when having to choose multiple features to pattern. I assume solidworks has something similar. Also I, like everyone else, was over here saying 'no it's 39.6, not 34.6' lol

Thank you for your time, It CirPattern, when I choose 4, an error is shown "The specified plane should not be perpendicular to the sketch plane". what is the problem? I created it step by step as same as you

You can "reduce" extra sketch lines and extra trimming. There are automatic "snap" lines at the circle quadrant points. Also, don't use offset until you have two lines trimmed and joined together. Do this: a.) sketch construction line from right point(quadrant) → center point → bottom point(quadrant) b.) offset 5mm c.) offset 5mm d.) convert outside circular line e.) trim

Thanks for your time to comment and valuable feedback.
if i saw correctly wouldn't you use the 39.6 not the 34.6 dimension?

@G Man Thanks for your time to comment. FYIP, I used 34.6 mm not 39.6 mm. Can you please check and confirm!

39.6mm is correct, so the circle is in the center of the square. 34.6 is without the thickness.

I came to comment the same, it should have been 39.6mm as it was measured from the outer edge. The voice over also stated the whole to be 20mm radius when it was 20mm diameter.
Why does everytime I try and copy this something just goes wrong

Because, I am not a native speaker. I struggle evetime while making narrations for my tutorial. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for understanding.

"Do what I do" Why can't you just say exactly what you're doing? Creates so much confusion. I got conflict and rebuild errors because you were so vague with explaining little things.
