well the mass fraction of ch4 and oxygen would be depleted in the same regions but the highest temperatures would happen a little down stream. The mass fraction of the oh is usually what is used to predict the "flame front" of the combustion. Remember it is a chemical reaction, there are many species that are created and changed between the mixing of CH4 and O2 to the creation of H20 CO2 and other species. Also note that this solution used the RANS method which finds an average loc flame front

I can't thank you enough! I did it with your help without having any knowledge on solidworks.I just have a question.This is supposed to be a combustor but the cylinder we made is solid.Shouldn't it be empty on the inside?

+zafos900 if you make it empty then it will show you just contours of process. So you have to make it solid.
