Random question, with the equations tool on SolidWorks, is possible to make quadratic surfaces?

It's only possible to create equation driven curves, not equation controlled surfaces directly. But there are ways to manage it For any shapes that are axisymmetric you could simply create the equation driven curve in one quadrant and then use a Revolved Surface feature. For more complex shapes, you could lay out multiple equation driven curves and use the Loft or Boundary surface features to interpolate the surfaces from the equation driven curves.
