I Used ProE and that software is very complicated for creating large assemblies, i moved on to SolidWorks and i can tell that is BEAUTIFUL!, a truly masterpiece.

The resellers like to make money teaching you how to use the software so they don't like to show too much, that's one of the reasons why some of the features aren't very well explained in the "help" files. Best resource is You Tube where you can learn all this stuff. I would recommend Cad Cam Tutorials on You Tube if you can get past the Mosque calling to prayer during the videos.

the CAD format is compatible universally for the machines ?

No, the software is PC only and the file format changes every year so you cant use 2020 files on a 2019 version of the software. To interchange between years the best way is to use Parasolid XT and even then that is becoming more hit and miss lately. Solidworks has import options for most CAD file formats but all create problems during import.

Like most things Solidworks the demo library videos don't work!! A bit of attention to detail from DS Systems would be a good thing!

I love this, but i don't like the false facts. If you take a look at 4:26 they say "high quality images seconds" when you can clearly see it shows 35 minutes of elapsed time..come on, you have a great product and it will sell itself, just be honest, don't bend the truth so much :)

Not sure, If ur right mate, this factor depends on a work station u got. SW could easly use 30 seconds. Any time factor can be correct. The most accurate specification would be : depends on your comp, if u use old rag time = 100000h. enjoy. Cheers !
