Brother when you setup on the machine first op1 do you use G54 for op1 G55 for back turn op2 ? How do you set up on duel spindle?
@aaronrunk4209 Жыл бұрын
Hello there. In the video, I am programming the part backward to how I would set it up on the machine. I do this so that once my students create the program I tell them that the G55 should be op 1 and then I show them that you can drag-and-drop setup two above setup one and it corrects the posted code. I have a video of a similar part students program but in this version, I show them how to program the larger side first and then flip to create the smaller smaller features. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGm3dXqMqLNjnNk I also create magnets on three different machines, and on the last machine, where I have a dual spindle, you can see how it would be programmed differently. I hope this helps and thank you for watching

How do you add a finish pass?
@aaronrunk4209 Жыл бұрын
When you select the Turning portion of featurecam in the strategy menu, it will ask for finish and roughing passes. don't forget that you may have to manipulate the depths of cuts and the Finish allowance so that the chipbreaker works correctly on your finished pass tool. Thank you for watching
