I believe, the Normal to Profile option is also available in Loft in the End Conditions.

In loft we can control the curve using multiple guide curves but in boundary there is no guide curves.

Suppose we have a square on top and octagon on first plan which is parallel to top plan. Is it possible to form sharp edges going on from one vertex of square to nearest two vertices of octagon using lofted boss space? Please reply

I still do not see the difference between your boundary boss base and lofting.. Lofting also allows you to use "normal to profile end constraints in exactly the same way as yours as well as the ability to use a guide curve in exactly the same way. Maybe you need to find a different model to more clearly show the difference as I see none. I tried them both with equal results. keep up the good videos.
