Good videos and I was able to remake the part in 2 minutes after following slowly the first time. Only thing is that you originally showed a 10"x10" cube with 1" diameter hole and 1" radius edges, but later changed the cube's dimensions to 10mm while keeping the holes and radii in inches. I'm using 2020 solidworks and I'm also getting lost a bit when you're able to define the handle's dimensions to the edge of the hole when it snaps in place; I had to do that manually like you showed in the last video. Did I do something wrong there?

When trying to follow your steps Ryan I seem to be missing what Plane you are sketching on and my orientation in TriMetric ends up being different - as in: Your extruded example (HammerHead) model is positioned in a view on the Left extruding back (Mid-Plane) to the Right and mine is opposite. Then when I sketch what is to be the Through/both Cut Hole for the handle it is on the side, not the Bottom - Please provide more clarity of what Plane or Surface you are Sketching on so as to be able to follow your example precisely. The confidence gained by seeing my result matching yours can be improved. Otherwise, very clear step-by-step instructions are well followed, and, sometimes experimented with to see what happens "if/when" I try something different depending on what Pop-up options may come up - Still contemplating if I should drop 1K for your full course or not -

@with-Aryan3 жыл бұрын
wait what? who ever says it's a sin to place your circle on the origin is following a croocked advice! You should do that as a matter of fact. 2- You can select the midpoint on the edges of your cube and assign Vertical/horizontal relation to your circle, but my recommendation is to stick to the origin
