@@xmangle5382 True, i recommend duo teams and exploiting the servers stats; Me and a buddy of mine once joined a server where we put 90% of our stat points into melee damage; We had raid wars with the admins but we were rarely online at the same time so once upon a time we finally were online at the same time, we had full red gear(can't recall the prefix on the server) They parachuted down into our atalantis dome (the center) and started fireing at us with cheated in rocket launchers, i ran outside towards them with 300% movement speed And with a single regular punch i blew off all their armor like Saitama vs boros My buddy did the same to admin #2 in the mean time TEAM WORK MAKES TEH DREAM WORK Until they spawned in a level 9999 giganta .... which we shot with the rocket launcher we looted from them..... Which made it mad and it killed both of them and my buddy because it can move at the speed of light apparently

@@xmangle5382 Yeah the best way to survive i found is to find a place with limited entrances and fortify it, dont make a "base" its both a waste of resources and effort, i found this one cave in the center that is the perfect size to get blocked off by a behemoth gate and still be practically invisible with enough space to fit 5 of each work station and 3 huge dinos (if you really stick em in the corner) 10/10 would never share location of this cave, the people who showed me it shouldnt of showed me lol.... no one ever takes it and its incredible

@@Pengwin3D ark is definitely the cooler game of the two but rust is much more fun in terms of pvp. base raiding is more strategic, stone bases can't be to easily broken into like in ark, the gunfights are more fair and take more skill to win, and everybody is the same size and runs the same speed. In ark raiding a stone base can be done with one c4, the pvp fights are mainly one by the person with the better dino or by the person who gets the bola off first, and the players mainly consist of the smallest women who run at the speed of sound. Not to mention all the glitches ark has that the devs just ignore like meshing. If you are going to play ark pvp i would suggest that you play the way kishko does and make small hidden bases and just be a guerrilla fighter.
