One of those pans had a whole lot of garnet in it. Garnet is a "heavy" , so if your finding it, you're looking in the right spots. That being said, doesn't guarantee gold will be there. Gold is where you find it.

Could be, but I've never seen one like this, its also at a spot on the trail where camping wouldn't be ideal. Some kind of bug trap for sure though. Thanks for watching!
