As I’m watching your video I too am traveling solo on the boat. It’s not for the faint of heart. Docking, long passages along a narrow twisty icw. It all changes when you are solo. - Great job Gus. Hope to run into one day.

There are ropes on a boat. They’re called ropes until they’re given a purpose and then they’re called lines, halyards, snubbers etc. Cheers.

It's hard to convey in a video, how nervous you can get going into a sketchy inlet like Naples at night in a boat that really doesn't need to hit the bottom! Enjoyed your video!

I tried to do this trip after a hurricane had passed. It started out calm water and got half way and the hurricane had built a tail of storms behind it. Had to turn around at 5 to 7 foot seas. By the time we got to Naples it was 15 foot swells!!!

Great video and speed. I wish my boat was that fast. I can only crank out 5 to 6 knots on my full displacement hull. Yea…I can go forever. (3000 miles) but i would trade some of that for speed in a heartbeat.

Do you consider refinishing the wood trim? I know it is cosmetic but it really pops when it is all redone. You have a great work ethic. I don't think the videos do justice to how much work you put into the projects on the boats.

Hey Buddy‼️ I don't know what kind of Boating experience you had before buying your Boat (I have none), but I've noticed that you do a lot of Solo Cruising and was wondering what's the largest Boat you think you would feel comfortable Cruising Solo ? I've been looking at Boats in the 45-55 foot range as a full-time liveaboard.

I live in Naples Florida please don't ever call our inland sketchy
@InTooDeepBro2 жыл бұрын
Inlet, not inland. Inlet: (a narrow strip of water that goes from the sea into land). Read the Navionics reviews, it is said to be quite sketchy, however I found it to be easily navigable even in the pitch black.
@ralphholiman74012 жыл бұрын
We always pass up the Naples inlet for the Marco Island inlet. And, the Marco Island inlet is sketchy as hell most months!!! I wouldn't want to run either on in the dark in our four foot draft twin screw boat. Too expensive to hit the bottom!
