@RoKKiT, as a person who reacts poorly to mosquitoes, sandflies, etc, I'd highly recommend even if you're minimalist in your gear packing, some high % deet insect repellent. I think Bushmans do a waterproof one but anything above 80% works great for me and i don't get bitten for hours! Love the content, hoping to help you out coz it seems a somewhat constant issue.

Rod. If u grab a new mask. Use a lighter to the inside lens and burn off the silicon. This should completely eliminate fogging. Some brands come with shitloads of contaminates from factory and even after several goes with the lighter will leave residual. In this case. Leave it in the shower, use showering occasions to keep rinsing for a week.

I use bamboo chop sticks instead of tongs cooking and then for eating. Can burn them after if you dont want to wash them and its like 10 pairs for $1 plus they have a small foot print.
