Hello friends, today I am camping in a tropical rain forest. I arrived at the location and was greeted with a light drizzle and then heavy rain until late in the afternoon.
I cook and drink coffee of course.

Did enough of that in army officers training. Pitching a WWII era pup tent in the rain, at. Ight in pitch black but not allowed to use flashlights. Everything got wet. Boots wet, jacket soaked. Digging a moat around your tent to drain off thr water flowing down hill. It never works. Rain water pouring through my tent. Pounding tent pegs i to the ground with my steel helmet. Let me just spread out my sleep bag and lay down for 2 hours before i have to get up for guard duty. Dont even bother twking my soggy, cold boots off as i would then have to lace them up in the dark and puttinf my warmed feet back into soggy cold boots. Then pack up everything in the morning before the sun comes up in pitch black with flashlights. Just jam everything back into my ALICE pack. I hate camping now.

I loved the sound of rain.. But you have to focus on out side view also.. Most of the video is of inside.. Thats why u have had to use tarp tant also so that inside and outside view both will be shown properly and also change the tant its get too old..but..The regular raining sound is mast and relaxing..

Yes but offshore oil workers make very good money. No expenses in commuting. Food and living quarters provided, no expenses there. No need to cook for yourself. Just go to the dining hall. Yes, it's probably 12 on and 12 off, but many other people work long hours without nearly your good pay. If you're an engineer, you work inside and not handling heavy, dangerous, diety machinery so that is a plus. If you are a roughneck, you make very good money. Just don't have any where to spend it so look how much cash is building up in your bank account. Most people don't have $1,000 in the bank for emergencies.

I seriously wonder why a tarp isn't added to the man's site. Different people follow their own preferences. But, the discomfort and ever present wet even inside his tent has to be highly uncomfortable. He could get in and out of his tent comfortably and not be locked up in his tent. Each to their own. I do love the sound of the rain and commend him for his effort.
